Interim Orders Committee

At a review hearing on 6 February 2026, the Interim Orders Committee revoked the suspension on Mr Luniya's registration and imposed conditions for the remainder of the original 12 months High Court Extension order. An interim order of suspension was originally imposed on 23 November 2023 for 15 months. At a review hearing on 10 May 2024, the Interim Orders Committee revoked the suspension and imposed an interim order of conditions. At a review hearing on 8 May 2025, the Interim Orders Committee revoked the conditions and imposed an interim order of suspension. On 18 February 2025, the High Court extended the order for a further 12 months. This interim order is due to expire on 22 February 2026 and the GDC will be applying to the High Court for an extension of it. In the event that such an application is granted, the order will be reviewed in accordance with the GDC's statutory requirements.
